Texaco 7, Carl the Butcher 1 The first game was domin- ated by Waggs after Carl's drawing first blood. Scoring for Carl's was Rick Rahm. For Waggs, Gord Hintze picked up 4 points, scoring twice and getting .two assists. Other scorers were Doug Olliffe and Tim -Ash- bridge netting two apiece, with a single point to Bill Bridge. _Consummers Gas 3, Grieves Gulf 3 The second game was a hard fought draw with Grieves scoring 3 goals early in the first and Consumers getting a goal near the end of the period. Bill Haynes, Stu Cochrane, and Robt. Kroon- enberg scored for Grieves while Colin Asselstine, Larry Page and Ken Bryant netted singles for Consumers. Ken Bryants tying goal came with 25 seconds left in the game. PEE WEE \ Saturday morning saw a lot of goals scored, starting with a 9-1 decision of Wes Lanes team over Glen Vallie Sod. Carriere played- outstanding, scoring six goals with Ausman scoring two and O'Donnel scoring once. Martin scored the lone goal for Glen Vallie. The second game ended in a 5-5 tie between Frank Real Estate and Bolton Carpentry. Gould and Ayer scored two each for Frank with Kroonenberg scoring a single. Aldred scored two for Bolton with Griffen, Strong and Cochrane scoring singles. Griffen scored the tying goal after Coach Mc Quade had pulled the goalie in the dying minutes of the game. BANTAM Cochranes Trotters dump- ed Peels Chix 9-3. Fedyk and Williams each scored two for the Trotters with singles going to Bullock, - Brawn, Moore and Lunny. Carriere, Alexander and Ware scored for Peels. ; Ballard Lumber downed Emmerson' Insurance 9-2. Percy scored five goals for Ballard Lumber with R. Shaw, Wallace, Van Weston, Dunn and D. Shaw each scoring singles. Freeman scored twice for Emmersoiy. NOVICE Emiel's Place downed Kinsmen Club 3-2. Scoring for Emiel's was Johnstone with the hat trick. Scoring for Kinsmen were Cawketon Assisted by Lee and Lee unassisted. Trans General Store and Scugog Realty battled to a 3-3 tie. Scoring for Trans were Lee with two unassis- ted and Stevenson assisted by Lee. Scoring for Scugog were Pratt with two unassis- ted and Farrell assisted by Gibson. On November 10th, in a hard hitting game with many penalties Uxbridge defeated Port Perry 5-1. Then on November 13th, . Port Perry won handily over Newcastle 7-0. In Exhibition games, Osh- awa Bantam "A"'s came to Port Perry, Friday night where they defeated Port Perry 5-1, scoring the only marker for Port Perry was Scott Wilbur from Mark Lee and Mike Healey. Port Perry returned to Oshawa Civic Auditorium on Saturday night where they lost to this strong Oshawa team 7-3, scoring for Port Perry were Peter Lane, Mark Lee and Scott and Scott Wilbur. BANTAM B Win two games Port Perry 2 - Newcastle 1 For the second game in a row, the C.T.C.'s registered a 2:1 victory over Newcastle. This game was very close throughout, with Port Perry finally scoring in the third period on a goal by Dennis Watson. Shortly after Steven Geer scored to make it 2-0. Newcastle came back with a goal with five minutes left, but with fine goaltending from Jim Treen and the rest of the players checking closely, the C.T.C.'s held on for the victory. Port Perry 6 - Stouffville 2 In this game, the C.T.C.'s blitzed Stouffville for five - goals in the first period and easily coasted to a 6-2 triumph. Dennis Watson scored a hat trick within six minutes in the first period to lead the way. Additional goals were scored by Dennis Fransen, Ron Ashmore and Steve Geer. Lose one of six games After five straight wins, Stones Pee Wee B's were upset 3-2 by Newcastle on November 14. Newcastle led three to zero until the last minute of the game, Port Perry pulled their goalie and were able to score two goals in the last 35 seconds of the BROOMBALL | Cawker's Butcher Shop 6,, Duff's Towing 2 Cawker's used some pic- ture passing on Sunday to merit an awesome attack as they sliced-up Duff's with three clean cut goals in each period to move into third place. Coulter 1 Smits kept on cycling as they rolled to a come from behind victory, the game featured some solid body checks. In the first period it ap- peared as though the new club K. R. Utica Auto Body 5, Brian's Supertest 0 Utica Auto Body continued to play a solid positional game and once again they displayed that the team that plays as a unit usually comes out on top. Dennis Symes played flaw- lessly in the nets once again and the rest of the Utica team played their positions well enough to stop Brian's from making any serious attacks. The game turned to a real shellacking when with just over a minute left, Brian's 'pulled their goalie and Utica scored twice in the empty net, one coming from the face-off circle inside their own blueline. Scorings in first period: Utica, Frank Fielding from Ron Redman; Harvey Par- rinder. Second Period: Utica, Frank Fielding from Mike Mitchell, and two scorings by Ron Redman.
