Port took a 3to 0 lead in the first, period and were never behind as the teams each scored twice in the final two periods. Scoring for Port were Bur- nett with four, Storry, And- rews and Potts one each. Picking up assists were Brown and Wilbur two, Storry. Potts and Johnson one each. Friday. November 22nd - In a league game at Ux- bridge. _the Legionnaires came out on the short end of a 3to0score. Port had very few good scoring opportun- ities and were unable to capitalize on the chances they had. Penalties also hurt us as we played better than the equivalent of one period scored a pair for Peels with singles going to McCallum and Watson. Durward and Robinson on defence and Myers in goal also turned in solid efforts. On Sunday, November 24th in an exhibition game at Unionville, the Legionaires were defeated 5 to 3. Unionville pretty well con- trolled the first two periods of play and early in the third period built up their lead to 4 to 0. Port finally got back in the game in the third period rapping in two goals in twenty-two seconds. Scoring plays were Bur- nett from Brown and Potts, and Brown from Burnett and Potts. Unionville came right bake to score and increase their lead to three goals. Menzies on a solo effort potted the final goal to complete the scoring for the night. : undefeated On Thursday, November 21, the Murray Williams Bobcats Midget 2 Team hosted the Stouffville Club and were lucky to tie Stouff- ville four all. Nobody seem- ed to be interested in the game with Ritchie Lefort being the strongest player % for the Bobcals. Greg Ray with two, N. Nicastro and Jim Grove with singles scored for Stouffville who played a very strong game through all three periods.
