Operated by Berkeley International Hotels Ltd, Friday, November 29th, on home ice the Legion Pee Wee's scored a 5 to 4 victory over Stouffville to hand them their first defeat of the season in league play. For the Legionaires the first two periods were pos- sibly the best two periods of hockey they have played this winter. Port completely dominated the first two periods and built up a 4 to 0 lead. They let up in the third period and were outscored by the opposition to the tune of 4 to 1. Ports goal in the third period was a softie. The Stouffville goaltender elected to take a wild swing at the puck with his stick only to miss and have the puck slide between his legs into the net. Stouffville also counted a bizarre goal in this period when a shot was deflected high into the air, at the blueline, landing in front of the net and bouncing by the goaltender. Leading the way, offen- sively, for the Legionaires was the Brown, Burnett, Potts line. The five man defense core of Storry, Par- ker, Jobb, Robinson and Sandison played a good game as did Myers in goal.
