The 4-H girls attended their final meeting for the autumn season, in Uxbridge, where they put into practice what they had learned. Their leaders were quite pleased with the efforts of our girls. The Brownies, 26 in num- ber in charge of Mrs. Roberge and Mrs. Carol Brown were quite happy riding down Port Perry's main street in the Santa Claus parade and so was Bruce Carr who drove the tractor. The Carrs were really busy as the two older girls belonged to 4-H while the younger ones were Brownies. Then on Sunday, Mr. Ganton Carr of Eden, paid a visit to his son's home. Other week-end visitors here included, Mr. and Mrs. Ron Wanamaker and family of Oshawa at the B.-L. Wanamakers on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Sweet- man and children of Streets- ville, spent the weekend with the Ken Sturman family. At the Clements-Belair home on Saturday, were Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Michie of Hamilton. Mrs. Howell wishes to thank all for their support. Also on Monday night, 20 ladies from Unit U.C.W. had their Christmas party at the Morley Bruce home. It followed the usual pattern of devotions, games and of course, lunch.
