The Bethesda-Reach W.I. held its annual Christmas _ meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Boadway. The husband's accompanied their wives, and all enjoyed a wonderful dinner, then the District directors had pre- pared a delightful pro- gramme of carols and read- ings. Mr. C. Robb led in singing a carol as his Welsh grandparents sang it in the old land with everyone join- ing in the chorus. Another very interesting number was when Mrs. Bill Warne read a poem her great, great, great grandmother had sent to her daughter in the eighteen hundreds. We had a couple of con- tests and then a few games of Euchre. Thanks to all who helped in any way to make this such an enjoyable evening especially Harry and Ruth Boadway for their hospitality. We were pleased to learn that much of the goods stolen from Mr. and Mrs. Boad- way's home had been recovered and the culprits arrested.
