Mr. Hutchinson was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Llewellyn Hutchinson of Picton. He was born June 2, 1925, in Palmerston and married Feb. 18, 1946, in Oshawa, where he lived for a number of years. For the past 28 years he has been a resident of the Port Perry area. Employed at General Motors for more than 30 years, he was a member of Local 222 of the UAW. During the Second World War he served overseas with the Argyle and Sutherland Highlanders of Canada and he was also in the services during the Korean War. He was sergeant at arms of the Royal Canadian Leg- ion, Branch 419, Port Perry, and a member of the Cana- dian Corps Association of Oshawa. Surviving besides his par- ents are his wife, the former Mary Chandler; five daughters, Mrs. John Brown (Edith) of Oshawa, Mrs. Dennis Gibson (Patsy) of Blackstock, Lillian Hutchin- son of Oshawa, Mrs. David Bourgeois (Wendy) of Port Perry and Cathy, at home; a son, William, of Oshawa; a sister, Mrs. Keith Smith (Buehla) of Oshawa and two brothers, Ross of Port Perry and Wilfred of Vancouver. There are eight grandchild- red. A daughter, Donna, died in 1964. Mr. Hutchinson was at the Armstrong Funeral Home.
