This set the stage for the Utica Flash to go into actior as he tied up the game on a pass from Burnett with just better than two minutes remaining .in regulation time. With West Rouge pressing for the equalizer it remained for Menzies to save the day as he broke up a dangerous two on one inside our blue line as the game ended. PeeWees defeat Uxbridge February 7th at Uxbridge the PeeWee's got revenge for those earlier three league defeats as they blanked the home side 3 to 0 in the first game of the Group finals. Burnett got Port off on the right foot as he opened the scoring in the first period coming from behind the net and poking one into the corner. Kane drew an assist on the goal. This was the last game of the regular season with Newcastle and the record against them was three victories against one: defeat. Games commence at 9:00 a.m. and run throughout the day with the Consolation final at 6:30 p.m. and the Championship at 8:00 p.m. Competing teams are Adam, Scott and Kenner "Collegiates from Peter- borough, Uxbridge, Henry Street (Whitby), Stayner, two teams from Cobourg and the Port Perry Juniors led by Phil Cochrane and Shawn Taylor. Port's team, coached by Mr. Roy Clarke, should be strong contenders to take the championship.
