Again these teams needed overtime to decide a winner and again Port Perry Toyota Wheels were behind 4-1 only to come back and tie. The hockey was superb and the' fans from both sides said it was the most exciting series they had seen for a long time. As in game one, Fenelon Falls opened the scoring early but this time it was John Scott who put the Wheels in the game, instead of Davey Horton. Evans and Tran assisted on Scotts goal. With only two games left before playoffs it will be a tight race~ for third and fourth because both teams are only two points behind Cawker's. Brian's picked up their two goals in the first period. One at 11:32 by Keith Dalton unassisted and the other at 15:25 by Dave Dalton from Larry King. Cawker's scored their only goal at 19:22 of the second period by Aldon Smith from Doug Scott. SMITS CYCLE & SPORTS 4 DUFF'S TOWING 1 Smit's pulled out of their three game losing streak with a 4-1 win over Duff's. Don Gray led Smit's to a win with three goals and one assist. Duff's scored at the 10:00 mark by Ken' Vipond. Then Smit's scored at 11:35 by Pat Thompson from Don Gray to end the first period at 1-1. Don Gray scored his three goals in the second period. Green picked up the tallies for Ballard. Hadley, . MIDGET 4 WAGG BROS. TEXACO 4 CLUB ANNRENE 3 Eric Hadfield scored all four of his teams goals with the only assist going to Mike McQuade. Colin Asselstine scored two of Annrene's goals while Jeff Lyon scored the other. - Assists went to Bill Newman, Kevin Martens, Robt. Kroonen- berg, Steve Hawes and Ken Bryant.
