The 27th Annual Officer's Conference of the Federated Women's Institute of Ontario was at Waterloo campus, April 29, 30 and May 1. This is a training session for Officers of Women's Insti- tute. This year it is for Branch Secretary-treasur- ers, conveners of Agriculture and Canadian Industries and Members-at-large. There was a registration of 600 Thursday, May 22, 1975 Agriculture and | Food, addressed the gathering. Greetings were given by Dr. Holmes, Director of Research Administration, University of Waterloo. Live- ly musical interludes were lead by Mrs. B. J. Winmill and pianist Mrs. Harold Roland. Mr. Paul Fry, who is presently studying Opera at the Toronto University, delighted the gathering with his selection of solos. Mrs. John A. Mclean, Eureka, Nova Scotia is pay- ing her offical visit to Ontario as president of the Federated Women's Institutes of Can- ada. "You and Your Organ- ization'. As an individual W.I. member, you are the link to join community to- gether, around the province, across Canada, and to our International organizations. We need tolerance, sincerity, courage, wisdom, honesty and the closerelationship of a family unit.
