Brown of Burnaby, B.C, Thursday evening, Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Houghland and Robert visited the Payne's and one evening Mr. and Mrs. A. D. Christie were supper guests with the Payne family. : Mrs. Jas. Dowd and Mr: and Mrs. E. Harney, both of Toronto, called at the Christie home one day. They were trying to locate any of their relatives, the Watson's who formerly lived in Epsom. . Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Donald Simmonds who were recently married. We were pleased that Donald had quite a successful sale last week when he sold his cattle. We are very pleased to learn that this young couple will take up residence in Epsom in the near future following a honeymoon in the Barbados. Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Asling of Ajax brought his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Asling of Whitby to visit Mr. Asling's sister, Mrs. Cawker, and Mrs. Asling's brother, George Lamb and Mrs. Lamb of Uxbridge on Monday afternoon.
