It was pleasant seeing this popular couple at the Train's reception on Saturday evening. The June meeting of the Nestleton Women's Institute was held in the Nestleton Community Center on Wed- nesday the 4th. This was an exceptionally pleasant meet- ing as visitors from the Janetville and Shirley Road W.1. were guests. Another guest that was a delight to have was the "Dairy Princess", Miss Nancy Knox, who gave a most informative talk regarding nutritional value in milk and other foods. The President, Mrs. B. DeJong, welcomed all and then read a poem in reference to gardening. The financial report was submit- ted by the Secretary, Mrs. J. Wygerde. Correspondence wasread and thank you cards acknowledged. Get well cards were sent to the ill in the community. The report on the District ~ Annual was submitted by Mrs. L. Malcolm. It was decided that four ladies would attend the Bow- manville W.1.'s 75th anniver- sary. The event was on June the fifth. The ladies that attended were Mrs. R. Wygerde, Mrs. H. Luncheon was ser- ved and a social hour enjoyed with the guests. The sympathy of the com- munity is conveyed to the family of Mrs. Jessie Randall of Caesarea. Mrs. Randall passed away on Sunday. May God be with this family in this their hour of sorrow. Just a thought.....If youth could but foresee what age has already seen.
