Jy23 McLaurin Yellow and white daisies and yellow chrysanthemums was the setting for a pretty wedding at the Immaculate Conception roman Catholic Church at 4:00 P.M., June 21, 1975, when Kathryn Grace, - daughter of Mr. and Mrs. R. Gerald Jackson, Port Perry, was given in marriage to Robert Colin, son of Mr. and Mrs. Colin McLaurin, Ux- bridge. The double ring ceremony was performed by Rev. Father P. Botman. Mrs. Gwen 'Malcolm, Nestleton, was the organist and Mrs. Marilyn Smith, Toronto, the soloist, who sang '"Today" and "The Wedding Song" during the signing of the register. The bride chose a gown of Polyester organza over taf- feta with eyelet lace trim- med with yellow ribbon. Designed on Empire lines, the bodice featured a high neckline with lace trim with long full sleeves caught into wide buttoned cuffs. The skirt was trimmed at the bottom with lace and ruffle which fell gracefully into a Chapel train. "Her fingertip veil with lace edges was caught by a crown of stephanotis, orange blos- soms and seed pearls, matching her gown. She carried a bouquet of yellow chrysanthemums and sprin- gerria fern. The reception and dance was held at the Latcham Center where the Brides mother received the guests in a formal powder blue Polyester crimpknit with lace jacket and a white orchid corsage. The Grooms mother chose a formal white polyester knit with green and white jacket. Guests were present from St. Catharines, Toronto, Ux- bridge, Whitby, Ottawa, Pus- linch, Ontario, Ann Arbor, Michigan, Edmonton, 4 Alberta, Annapolis Royal, | Nova Scotia, and Maple Creek, Alberta.
