Pumps Available Almost a good news story Looking for a good news story during the hot vacation months of summer is like the search for the proverbial The directors of the Scugog Chamber of Com- merce and their wives enjoyed themselves at the annual directors picnic last Saturday. The picnic was held at the cottage of Mr. Merl. Dowson at Ball Point. An Open House was held at the Immaculate Conception Church new parish hall last Sunday. Many of the congre- gation had the opportunity to see the new facilities that have been under construc- tion recently. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Stevens of R.R.1, Ashburn, were guests of honour recently at * a dinner party in celebration of their 40th wedding anniversary.
