Despite declining enrolments in many parts of Ontario, school populations in Scugog remain at a very healthy level. The main building project underway at the moment is the addition to Cartwright Central School to be completed in 1976. It will give the school capacity for an additional 200 students and will provide special rooms for science, art, instrumental music and physical education. The Principal is Mr. D. H.
