Mr. and Mrs. Victor Larocque were last Sunday supper guests of Mr. and: Mrs. Vince Larocque in Oshawa. ~ George Kilpatrick visited his cousins, the Misses Clara, Third game necessary The Nestleton Jets have forced a third and deciding game in the finals of the Lake Scugog Softball Assoc- iation by virtue of a decisive 11-5 win- over Pontypool. But as large as this seems it was in no way indicative of the actual play. The game by and large was a hitters "heyday" as Pontypool jumped off to an early 2-0 lead in the first "inning on Dave Rafuse's two run homer. Pontypool added two more runs in the third inning and one more in the fourth to have a seemingly insurmountable 5-0 lead by the fifth. But the fifth inning was as far as Rafuse was to throw as Nestleton sent 11 men to the plate to score five runs and tie the game. From then on the game was all Nestleton as they added two runs in the sixth one in the seventh and three more in the eighth to gain the win.
