Many of us who couldn't go there were able to participate in the bus trip which the Kinettes provided. Each fall we take a bus trip to visit the Senior Citizen's Home at Minden. We had a beautiful day this year tosee the leaves in their autumn splendor. The bus driver was most helpful. The Kinettes provid- ed a lovely lunch and a little gift for each of us. We had no empty seats on the big bus, and all reports were enthusi- astic. Thanks again, Kinettes. Many of us visited our families Thanksgiving Sun- day. We had our special dinner on Thanksgiving Day. The lounge and dining room - weredecorated traditionally, with fall leaves and harvest bounty. Eleanor's Flowers donated table centres for the dining room. This year we had two long tables and all but four of us were able to eat in the dining room. Mr. Smallman asked the blessing and Mr. Christie thanked the staff for their extra effort. The Thanksgiving dinner was extra special, the cooks had provided the traditional turkey dinner with all the trimmings, including home- made pumpkin pie with whip- ped cream and home-made buns. The aroma of those buns and cooking brought back many memories and they were delicious. TT ACACIG all colours 6%.
