SEAGRAVE 1-11 MEETING 2-The second| meeting was held October Ist in the Seagrave Church. We began the meeting with the 4-H Pledge and thén had a collection of $}. 65 bringing *. the balance to. $5.49. We elected the exhibit commit- tee and "the results were Karen O'Reilly, Karen Carr 'and Donna Wallace. The minutes of meeting 1 were read by Diane Barr. We _ discussed eolours and styles and how to make a pattern, and traced a pattern onto the smaplers and then proceed- 'ed to do the backstitch. We closed the meeting with the 4-H Motto. MEETING 3-The third meeting was held on October 8th, at 7:00 p.m. in the Seagrave Church. The unit this fall is a "'A Touch of Stitchery". We are very fortunate to have Mrs. Dempster and Mrs. Couperthwaite as our leaders. Denise Dusty is president, Heather Hamilton is vice- president, Kim Denby is trea- surer, and Cathy Taylor is _ press reporter. We will be leaning many stitches in this unit and we will be making-very interest- ing projects. Mothers are welcome to attend the meetings.
