The committee made its decision after interviewing representatives from six architectural firms who had expressed interest in a new regional headquarters. The firm chosen by the committee to conduct the feasibility study was Neish, Owen, Rowland and Roy. However, the committee was taken to task by some members of council for the method of which the recom- mended firm was chosen and also for the fact that the cost- of such a study was "vague".
