Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa and Mr. Harold Larmer very suddenly died while doing his routine farm duties at his farm south of - Blackstock. Mrs. Johnston's funeral was held on Saturday while Mr. Larmer's was or Monday afternoon. Sincerest sym- pathy to Mrs. Larmer and her family and to Mrs. John- ston's many relatives. Mr. Neil Johnston, Man., Mrs. Ferga Avery'of Tilbury and Mr. and Mrs. Keith Johnston of Belleville spent several days in the area with relatives. *Mr. and Mrs. Stuart Dorrell and family of Charl- ton were in the area on the weekend to attend Mrs. Johnston's funeral. They were overnight guests of Mr. "and Mrs. Wilbur Toms. Mrs. Hazel Bruyea; Bronte spent the weekend with rela- tives after attending her aunt's funeral. / Better health is extended to Mrs. D. McLean who underwent hip surgery in Oshawa Hospital last week. Pleased to report that Blair, Martyn is home from Oshawa 'Hospital . following two operations there.
