On December 9, the Ban- tams travelled to Newcastle where they came out on top 4-2. -- Scoring for Port was George Burnett with 2 goals and two assists, Carey Fel- lows with one goal and three assists, "Dennis Franssen had one goal. Jim Treen and Craig Larmer shared the goal tending. In-a back to back series, Newcastle were in Port on December 10. This was a very close checking game that ended in.a 1-1 tie.
