Presented 10 yr. service pins Ten years of service was commemorated in a brief ceremony at Community Memorial Hospital in Port Perry on Thursday when Bob Brinkman, Elinor Moore and Marie Perigoe were awarded their 10-year service. pins. Bob Brinkman joined this staff February 1st, 1965, and has worked as head nurse (now - Supervisor I) from that time to present. He successfully completed an Extension Course in Nursing Unit Association with the Canadian Hospital Associ- ation in July, 1971. He has recently successfully com- pleted a Basic Professional Management Course at the Whitby Psychiatric Hos- pital. Bob has served on many committee throughout the nursing department and the hospital. Marie Perigoe and Elinor Moore had the one-time opportunity to obtain their R.N.A. certification at this hospital. This was.a course offered to aides working in a hospital with five years ser- vice and both were success- fully registered July 1969. Elinor commenced employ- ment July 19, 1965 and has worked mainly in obstetrics with some ward duty. Marie joined the staff April 19th, 1965 and has become a ver- satile staff member working in Central Supply, E.O.R. and O.R.
