High scoring Wheels defeat Flyers 13-1 It looked like "team Coch- rane" on Monday night as the - Toyota Wheels played host to the Fenelon Falls Flyers. Number 14, Phil Cochrane, picked up eight goals and three assists as the Wheels defeated the Flyers 13-1. The game was slow and the Wheels had little trouble get- ting through the opposition defense or past the Flyers goalie. Bill Bridge also picked up a few points, two goals and five assists, and Gord Hintze had one goal and six assists. Rob Evans scored a lovely single goal. The Wheels defense, Jones, Flieler and Healey stopped most rushes and forwards picked up the checks that were missed. A good team effort despite the lop-sided goal scoring. Mike Healey and Fenelon Falls player Jim Armstrong had a tussle along side the boards and Jim's father felt his son needed assistance. He leaned over the glass and grabbed Healey's helmet to . pull him away. Port Perry fans felt the referees were capable of handling the problem and finally after considerable effort managed to convince Mr. Armstrong that .it was indeed only a game and that a body con- tact sport sometimes means just that. A little excitement in an otherwise dull game. Olympic Lottery Tickets available at the Port Perry Star ARENA PORT PERRY Game Time 8:15 P.M: Atoms place second in Pt.
