Eva and Stewart MacFarlane, both residents at --. the Community Nursing Home in Port Perry, . Celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary on Mon- day with a group of relatives and close friends. Mrs. MacFarlane was born in Hamilton, and he was born near Seagrave. The couple was married in the bride's home in Brock Township, and they farmed for most of ~The lives in Reach Township. Mr. MacFarlane was interested in community activities, and was active as a church elder at Sonya Presbyterian Church, as well as in local politics. He was active in the Conservative Party, and was a councillor in Reach Township Council. Son, Reid, of Toronto, was on hand Monday. to make the day a memorable one for the MacFarlanes.
