This gave Kinsmen the lead one game to none in the best of three series. Then Simon Brierley scored from John Butler giving Wes Lane a 5-4 lead. Then with 44 seconds left in the game, Joey Williams scored tying it up. And in overtime, Allan Ferguson scored from Joey Williams giving Frank's a 6-5 win.
