Rev. Reg Rose, assisted by Rev. Alf * Woolcott conducted the com- munion outdoors under 'the maple tree beside an altar of hay bales. Many children brought their own pets to receive the blessing along with the other farm animals, seeds and implements. Horses, dogs, goats, cats, pigs, cows, rabbits and ducks were present. Bruce Stone and Howard Bailey, recently confirmed boys, as- sisted Rev. R. Rose and Rev. Woolcott with the com- munion.
