Around 25 Port Perry High School studehts and a num- ber of others from outside the school are taking part in the program this year...a program that for the past four years has helped many local people learn the fund- amentals of sailing. Classes are held mornings, afternoons, and evenings, and the fifteen hours of instruction is mainly prac-, tical, although basic theory is learned in brief black- board sessions. Students must be at least 10 years old and be able to swim 50 yards fully clothed with lifejacket and be able to tread water for five minutes without lifejacket.
