These scholarships 'are very prominent for those deserving through the Women's Institutes. Mrs. Jordon reported the Ade- laide Hoodless Home is undergoing renovations and .requests more of the mem- bers to visit this historical home. The Afternoon Session commenced at 2 p.m. Roll call of the 12 branches were called. A very. impressive memorial service, conduct- ed and prepared by Miss Beatrice McLean of Green- wood, honouring and re- membering the deceased members, Extension Services and Junior' Activities by Miss B. McClenagham, Home Economist, spoke on 4-H 'girls work. \ Achievement days prove very successful and training schools for leaders a hearty vote of thanks and appreci- - ation extended to the women who ably assist in 4-H girls work during the year. It was moved by motion that the Women's Institute contributed one hundred dellars to each - The Erland Lee Home at Stoney Creek, Ontario, the 'Adelaide Hood- less Home, and the Christian Nutrition Education, the original "Save Sight' pro- ject. A branch contribution to- wards the Miss McKercher International Scholarship - fund, each Institute branch requested to participate. Closing remarks for the annual meetihg were given by the President Mrs. Lewis, expressing the hope that all would leave the meeting with rekindled energies toward the work of the Women's Institutes at all levels.
