& . Obituaries Marjorie Viola Gourlie (Colden) of RR 4 Uxbridge, died Tuesday, July 6 in her 73rd year. Born in Toronto, she was « married to William Howard Gourlie on Dec. 28, 1921. They were long-time resi- dents of Uxbridge, but lived in Toronto as well, as were members of the United Church. Surviving are;sons Howard of Oshawa, Albert of " Winnipeg Beach, Manitoba; 'and. James of Epsom; daughter Doris Armstrong of Epsom. Predeceased are brothers Albert and George and sisters Ann Gibson and Alice. Surviving are four grand- children, Tom Armstrong, Tracy, Norman and Susan Gourlie. 4 Funeral service was held on July 8, 1976 from the Low and Low Funeral Home in Uxbridge with Rev. Gibson conducting the service. Interment by cremation, St. James Crematorium, Toronto. e Alexander Naples, former merchant of Port Perry, died on Friday, June 18, 1976 at Toronto, after a lengthy illness. He was the husband of the late Augustina Joseph," Samuel, Mrs. T. Martoreno (Sarah), Mrs. Anthony Demario (Mary), Michael, Mrs. George Hep- enzo Comeau (Marguerite), Andrew, Mrs. Stanley Clark (Jean) and the late Joseph- ine Larson and loving grand- father of twenty-four grand- children and eighteen great- grandchildren. Alexander Naples was born June 5, 1885 in Palermo Sicily. He served with the 9 Italian Calvary. In his younger years he was an ardent sportsman and loved to hunt and fish. He was also a member of the Port Perry Lawn Bowling Club for many years. A number of friends and relatives gathered to pay their last respects. Funeral mass was said in St. Paul's % Roman Catholic Church, Toronto on Monday, June41, 1976. A police escorted funeral procession left for Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill.
