Fraudulently obtained lod- ging investigation conducted by P.C. Laas revealed David George Andrew of no fixed address had been staying at the San Man Motel from June 28th to July 16th, 1976. On the 17th of July, 1976, Andrew paid for his lodging. by cheque which was later returned from his bank for - insufficient funds. Further investigation by P.C. Laas revealed the Port Perry I.G.A. store was in possess- ion of three N.S.F. cheques issued by Dayid George Andrew. Const. Laas is continuing his investigation into this occurrence. Provincial Constable B.H. Knowles is investigating the theft of a 14° White fiber- glass boat on a red home- made boat trailer, - which was located at Lot 12, Con. 6, Twp. of Scugog at the time of the theft. Boat is owned by Terry Eng, 45 Beech St., Uxbridge, Ontario. On Sunday, August 1st, Mr. Charles Brohm, 487 Wil- son Rd. S., Oshawa, Ont., was travelling north bound on Durham Regional Rd. 2 in the area of the 3rd Conc., Township of Scugog, pulled out to pass another vehicle, and in doing so, left the roadway, struck a mail box and wert into the ditch. No injuries.
