His talk was illustrated with some 200 slides that included views of Haifa, Acre, Heb- oan, Jerusalem and Naza- reth. Refreshments were served and afterwards it was ~ announced that Arini and Rob Jones from Australia will be coming to the Court- house September 29 at 8 p.m. and everyone is most wel- come to come and hear them. . Sunday, September 12, 1976 an Orange parade was held in Nestleton, by County of Durham West. Approxi- mately 60 members were present lead by Cartwright Flute and Drum Band, pro- ceeded from the -Nestleton Community Park to the Presbyterian Church where an appropriate service was given by Rev. Swan. A rather unique occasion was celebrated at the home of Mrs. Gladys Hiltz of Mark- ham on Saturday, Sept. 11. Deb, one of two young people representing Durham Junior Farmers at the camp, said the course provided her with a lot of new valuable experiences and informa- tion. "I guess the most important thing you learn is about yourself," she said. Deb, Kathy Stone of Saint- field, Karen Harder of Sun- derland and Allan Davis of -Beaverton were area repre- sentatives at the camp that saw about 100 delegrates from across the province. During the week, each member was expected to provide leadership to the program in various ways, whether it be planning the evening social event or vespers, sharing a camping skill or working on other activities.
