Luella Martin and Hey- wood Short were united in marriage at the home of the brides parents on September 15, 1926 by Rev. J.W. David- son. They took up farming on the grooms farm just outside of Seagrave until just eight years ago, when they moved to the village. Sy They have two sons, Kenneth of RR 3 Little Brit- ain and Jack on the home farm. Heywood and Luella greet- ed friends and relatives at open house during the after- noon. Catharine Short, a little granddaughter attended the guest book. The happy day came to a close with a salad supper for family and close friends at their home.
