Approximately 500 people attended the races during the day, standing along the windswept track which was laid out by members of the Cartwright Dynos and Port Perry Snowmobile Clubs. Over 50 races took place during the event, with one mishap when a machine flip- ped over, injuring driver Jim Richard's leg. Sixteen trophies were handed out in each of the different categories, with the - following recipients: Class 295 Fan - Randy Watson. Class 340 Fan - Mike Peacock. The races attracted near 500 people on the cold, but bright afternoon.
