Mr. Lewis Patterson has returned home from Bow- manville Hospital recover- ing from surgery. We wish him a speedy recovery. Mr. Ralph Grace is much better and able to be out of hospital. All very best wishes. Mr. and Mrs. G. Allison opened their home to relat- ives, friends and neighbours for a presentation and tea for 'Mr. and Mrs. Stephenson 'who are now living in Bowmanville. Friends from Malton, Oshawa, Bowmanville and surrounding country attend- ed. Mr. and Mrs. B. Lee, Oshawa, with Mr. and Mrs. Grace on the weekend. Mr. Russell Cochrane is a patient in Bowmanville Hos- pital. ~~ We wish him a speedy recovery. Mrs. D. Patterson opened her home for a shower for Mrs: Donna Buma, Bow- manville, (the former Donna Archibald of Burke- ton). Many useful gifts were received, followed by a lovely buffet lunch. Many friends and neighbours at- tended from Mississauga, Oshawa, Bowmanville and surrounding country. Our sympathy goes out to the family of Mrs. Tom Gibbs, Cobourg, who passed away recently, She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and neigh- _ bours at Tyrone. Kevin Nesbitt started Port out on the right foot with a goal in the first period. Mike Hamil- ton added another in the second period. In the third period Port let loose with 4 goals.
