Pickering opened the scor- ing but Port came back with eight consecutive goals. Mike Geer opened the scoring for the Bobcats with the 'assist from Carey Fellows. Ron Ashmore made it 2-0 with assists to Rick Young and Scott Wil- bur. Carey Fellows scored on a pass from Young. Dave Canning finished the scoring in the second period as he popped in one with an assist to Mark Cleveland. Canning opened the scoring in the third as Fellows and Cleve- land picked up assists. Rick Hope picked up two straight goals to make the score 7-1. Ashmore picked up two as- sists on these goals while Mike Geer had a single assist. Rick Young finished the scoring as he scored on a breakaway. Jim Treen played a steady game in the nets. John-Robertson play- ed an outstanding game for the Bobcats.
