The auxiliary would like to thank everyone who in any way helped to make the Fashion Show such a huge success. ) Correspondence was read including several Thank You notes. Mrs. Webster reported 12 babies had arrived at hos- pital the past month and 48 pairs of booties given out to new babies thus far this year. Mrs. Webster would be pleased to hand out wool to anyone who wished to knit booties. Phone 985-3120 Mrs. Cannon reported from the Hospital Board and informed the meeting that Mr. Grant McDonald was appointed Chairman of the Board at the annual meeting. Mrs. Cannon also reported the highlights of the Hospital Auxiliaries Conference which was held recently in 'Bowmanville. Eight members of our auxiliary attended. A letter was read inform- © ing the meeting of several : pieces of 'new equipment needed in hospital. This is _ being considered further information to be given in near future. Mrs. Crosier reported on the Tuck Shop which show- -ed profitable sales during past month. and $l Attention -was drawn to - the Spring Fair in the Latcham Centre on May 28 and donations for the various booths will be grate- fully accepted. Tickets are also on sale by any auxiliary members on a hand made rug. The auxiliary is very grateful to Manchester U.C.W. for the layette donated to the hospital, also to 'all our friends who sent in hand-knitted articles. Our next meeting will be on May 16, a luncheon in Prince Albert Community Centre at 1 p.m. All members and volunteer workers are invited to this social get-together. .
