May I wish you all a happy, safe holiday. Graduation exercises were held at Greenbank Public School Friday after- noon with many patents at- tending. Congratulations to all going on to R. H. Cornish in Port Perry and to all who won awards in various as- pects of school life. Church service Sunday morning was conducted by our student minister Mr. Rick Thorne. Many thanks to you, Rick and Margaret, for your special musical numbers which you favour- ed us with. Welcome home to Roy Puckrin and David Lee who have been out to Alberta. "Keep on Truckin', boys!" Saturday, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Boe from Kingston wished Reta a happy birth- day with a visit. Please remember to have your pledge money from the U.C.W, Walk-a-thon handed in to Phyllis Wray or Enid Belair by June 30th. A jean jacket has been found at the Seagrave ball park. It fits about a 10 - 12 year old boy, Pléase contact Frank Branton at 357-3170 if you lost a jacket. Baseball was the order of the day Saturday when Sea- grace ball team played in the Oakwood ball tourn- ament, Seagrave was defeated in its two games but Mariposa managed to tie one game with one loss. Oakwood won the trophy winning two well played games. After a day of baseball the team and friends enjoyed a dance at the Catholic Hall in Port Perry, Sounds like everyone had a great Satur- day. A layette was gratefully received from the Candace Unit of Blackstock U.W.C. for use in the hospital when the need arises.
