A speedy recovery to Mrs. Lucy Wilson and Mrs. John Greewood who are patients in Port Perry hospital. with her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Johnson and" Wesley. Miss Darlene And- erson of Kingston a weekend visitor with the Johnsons. Mrs. Maude Crosier who has been in Oshawa hospital suffering from a broken hip has been moved to Port Perry hospital. Mr. Lorne Procter of Toronto, Ken Procter of Oshawa and Miss Muriel Cowie recent visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Roy Dobson. Creek Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Trepanier and brother Leo Trepaneir all of Toronto were Wednesday visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Vic Larocque. Shirley Cummings and George Kilpatrick were in Sunderland on Thursday attending the class for the Enumerators for the Munici- pal Enumeration next month. Brian Armstrong attended the Ex in Toronto on Thurs- day. George Kilpatrick visited his cousin Miss Clara Brown in Toronto on Saturday. Scugog fish survey (continued and Lake Scugog; this has continued through the summer and will be con- tinued into the fall. Success in May and June for both lakes was excellent but tap- ered off to slightly better than a typical August, with a lower angler success. Better days are in sight for the fall, however," when the angler success rate is expected to increase significantly. During July and August fish samples for contamin- ant analysis have been ob- tained from Rice, Pigeon, Sturgeon, Scugog and Balsam Lakes. Fish species collected were pickerel, perch and largemouth bass. Samples have been forward- ed to Ministry of Environ- ment labs for analysis.
