The group toured the old Palmer home on Simcoe Street and had a brief dedi-. cation ceremony in front of the statue of Palmer in the park named after him on Water Street. Palmer, who was born in Port Perry in 1845, is the founder of chiropractic, and performed the-first adjust- ment on a patient Sep- tember 18, 1895.
