Its spirit and participation are just as commendable. All agreed it was an excellent perform- ance and quite humorous. . Other high-lights of the trip were dinner at MacDonalds and a football game in the " back of the bus. The Outers' Club held their first meeting the 14th. Here the executive was selected. It consists of Peter Diuvesteyn, Katie Schmidt and Mark Vince. Obviously a reliable trio for keeping the club active and trouping. Though Hallowe'en is 'still a little far into the future, C.H.S. students will be out knocking on doors within the next few weeks. They won't be trick or treating, but offering you an oppor- tunity to buy your hoards of candy without that last minute rush. The money will be used to finance formal school functions. Your support of the local high school will be greatly appreciated. The initiation of the 1977 Grade 9's is slowly falling far into the past. There will be one last event to wrap up the annual tradition for another year. September 30th we will be having our Initiation Dance at the Rec. Centre featuring "Jupiter". It will com- mence at 8:30 and admis- sion is $2.50 a person. We are looking forward to a large crowd. Due to the buckets and buckets of rain downed upon us these last two weeks, the Outers' Club has planned to build an ark to hold our 103 students and 6.7 teachers. P.S. Our bottle drive is October 5th (next Wednes- day) Any refundable bottl- es you want to get rid of we would, gladly pick up. Please save your extra bottles.
