The church was decorated with harvest and keepsakes by the Sunday School children which they were thankful for. Rev. J. Roundell preached a thought-filled sermon on Count Your Bless- ings. The choir rendered beautiful Thanksgiving music under the leadership the bountiful entertained her family for dinner on Sunday with 24 guests attending. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Spencer and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Spencer for Mon- day Thanksgiving dinner. Mr. and Mrs, J. Brown of i i and Mr. and Mrs. Arthie Empringham arrived home from a trip to the East coast. While in Nova Scotia they visited relatives and friends at Clemensvale, Greenwood and Dartmouth, Mr, and Mrs, D. Thomson on Sunday relatives from both Keith's and Anne's families. We are pleased to report that Mr. Franklin Phoenix is much improved in health and hopes to be home from Oshawa hospital soon. Mr. and Mrs. Alan Em- pringham of Hanover, Ont. visited with relatives and friends on Scugog Island, Port Perry and Greenbank for Thanksgiving.
