The purpose and effect of By-law Number 568-77 is to amend Restricted Area By-law 2585 in the following manner: ; (1) To repeal those provisions presently relating to interior side yards for single-family detached dwell- ings and semi-detached dwelling houses and to replace same with those included in the by-law. The effect of the new provisions will allow greater architectural flexibility in the design of multilpe storey dwellings while at the same time maintaining adequate space for building maintenance, rear yard access and day lighting. : (2) To amend Section 2(19)(0) to read as contained within the by-law, The effect of the amendment is to for a split level dwelling in order to increase the area for building maintenance, and day lighting.
