Ah, sweet memories and always good for a laugh. For a few days everyone is rushing around in a frenzy asking for illegible scribbles called autographs which they will cherish always in a bock soon put away only to collect dust. That is until the past creeps up and it is brought out on the many cold days of"I remember when". This controversial yearbook was put together with alot of effort, talent and time and not only is it bigger but said to be one of the better yearbooks of Cartwright High. Hope you like it! During the past week three of the students who accom- panied Miss Sheen to Europe this summer gave presenta- tions of their trip to. the school. They saw alot of places from the towers of France to the Swiss Alps and did alot of things from chas- ing trains to examining the beer gardens! It was ob- vious from the good com- Displays flower arrangements The Louise Patterson Handicraft Guild enjoyed a very interesting -demonstra- tion of dried flower arrange- ments given by To Overgoor at the October 12th meeting held in St.Johns Presbyter- ian Church. It was surpris- ing how some very ordinary. weeds became things of beauty under her deft fingers. She also showed 'some very attractive bottles and explained how they were decorated. These would make lovely vases or decorations. A tea hour followed and time was spent in examin- ing and admiring the lovely work brought in by mem- bers. An interesting meeting is planned for November 9th when there is to be a de- monstration of String Art. ili Church Services THE UNITED CHURCH OF CANADA PORT PERRY CHARGE Rev. R.
