R. H. Cornish principal John Hogg had expressed concern for the safety of the students who cross the highwav every day. Councillor Richard Drew told council that the highway is very busy in the area where the children cross, with the traffic moving at a rapid rate. SANTA'S COMING Permission has been granted the Chamber of Commerce to close off Queen Street in Port Perry for the annual Santa Claus Parade. EXTENSION GRANTED Goreski Gampgrounds on .Scugog Island has been granted a two-month extension for the preparation of a new site plan agreement between company and the Township. The deadline for the site plan had been December 1. Wayne Goreski Monday night asked council for" the extension, saying that the location of trailer and camp-sites is being completely re-aligned, and when finished, should be to the satisfaction of all parties concerned. Mr. Goreski suggested that members of council might want to make an inspection of the camp-site when the changes have been completed. Council has given the owners until the end of January, 1978, to come up with a new site plan agreement.
