Mike Dickson opened the scoring for Port unassisted. Craig Menzies and Jeff Wray added the other markers. Tobin, Cannon, J. Cockerton and Cox picked up single assists. Paul Goreski and John Moore played an excellent game in goal and recorded' the shutout. * The following day, Atoms defeated Peterboro 3-2. Mike Dickson, Fred Cockerton and Jeff Wray scored for Port. Andy Systma had assists while Menzies, Dick- son and Wray had singles. Come out and support this young Atom club. Bantams drop five games Following their last vic- tory against Bowmanville, the CTC Bantams dropped five games in a row. The first, on Nov. 7, against Stouffville, Port Perry went down 3-1. CTC's lone goal came at 14:46 of the third period, Scott Sandison find- "ing the mark from Karl Beer. On Nov. 9, Whitby came to town and returned home with a 7-0 win behind them. Port Perry was blanked again, when the boys travel- led to Markham and went down 6-0. A much improved team took on Pickering on Nov: 24 losing by ofily one goal. The final score 5-4. Both clubs scored two each in the first period. Paul Sytsma was first to break CTC's scoreless run, scoring at the 10:02 mark from Scott Sandison. 26 seconds later, Joe Williaths "scored from Todd Healey. : Pickering picked up two more in the second, while Grant Vizely scored for Port Perry from Joe Williams and Todd Healey. Both clubs scored one each in the third. Port's mark coming from Joe Williams, assisted by Todd Healey. . On Nov. 14, Bay Ridges was hosted by Port Perry. Port lost the game 4-1 in an. exciting hockey match. Jim Daniels scored CTC's lone goal from Karl Beer at the 6:37 point of the first CTC tightened up their defensive play in the third period, keeping the Bay' Ridges club socreless in the period. The team wishes Scott Wallace good luck and a speedy recovery. Scott fell heavily into the boards in the first period of the Nov. 9 game with Whitby and suffered a broken collar bone. Port Perry travels to Markham on Nov. 19 and host Uxbridge on Nov. 21 and Bowmanville on Nov. 23.
