For those wishing to place a fishing hut on the ice a reminder that all huts must display the correct registration number that has been assigned by this Minis- try. Anyone who has not previously revistered their hut must make application to the Lindsay office of the Ministry of Natural Re- sources and they will be assigned a number at no charge to the applicant. An angler may use two lines when ice fishing but must be within 200 feet of the lines and maintain a clear and unobstructed view of each line. Creel census and enforce- ment checks will be conduct- ed on a regular basis by district Conservation Offic: ers to obtain harvest data and ensure that no one is contravening regulations. SCUGOG As of November 30, 1977 the bass, and pickerel season closes 'for this year in all water in Division 6, which includes the Kawartha Lakes. Lake Scugog is the only exception where ice fishing for pickerel and pan fish is allowed until March 3, 1978. the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Swain. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Van- Camp and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Carnegie visited with Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Van- Camp and family at An- 'caster on Wednesday and Thursday and celebrated Arthurs birthday on Wed- nesday.
