So will you collect them through the winter months? Mr. Harold Forder spent Sunday to Wed. in Regina where he was showing his Reserve Junior Champion Hereford and was success- fulin capturing first place in" a class of Senior Year- lings. Dogs bite van We have all heard of a dog biting the man, and there has even been the odd case of man biting the dog. i. Now, there is an incident where dogs attacked a van, and did $80 damage to boot. It seems that a gentleman was driving his Ford van along a street in Whitby recently when two German Shepherds rushed out and literally attacked the vehicle, ripping off the fender skirt in the process. The dogs then retreated. Police were informed, and the Whitby by-law enforcement officer is now looking into the c case. Very cautiously. wm ®| _ Railroadhouse, IL TIT) Motor Motel eke Paul : Asta Larsen ® 21 Luxurious Rooms ® El Heated - Air Conditioned - Cable T.V. © Breakfast Lounge [Guests Only] @ Facility for Seminars - Meetings, etc. PORT PERRY, ONTARIO Telephone: (416) 985-8131 ' { A Fisher Wood Stove Gould Be Your Second Most Important Fixture! FOR INFORMATION CALL: DONNA HAZELWOOD | 985-3640 Twenty-five of the 27 ladies were able to be present including our former member Joyce Heayn, presently of Haliburton. After a delicious meal of hot' and cold foods, the years secrets were revealed as they accompanied many unusual gifts, some of which were lovely results of hours of handiwork. Part of the program included viewing slides of Hungary, Austria and Germany where Eliza- beth and Max Stichmann visited during September when they had returned to the land of their birth. They found many changes and some disappointments and realized many differences in comparison with Canada. On Sunday the Island Church was filled to capac- ity when five babies were presented for Baptism and many relatives were present to witness the ceremony. First there was little Christian William, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Ernest Holland of Gerrow's Beach, then Angela Marie Cormier little daughter of the former Monita Appleton and her husband, Courtney Lea-Anne is the tiny daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Williamson of Fralicks Beach. Next was little Tracy Judith, daughter "of Mr. and Mrs. Reid Stainton of Sunrise Beach. This totalled up to three girls and two boys who may attend school together in a few more years. Following this interesting ceremony Sandra Pearce and Valerie Davis were accepted into Membership of the Church. After Church there was a short meeting to decide upon the purchase of a "Remembrance" Book. During the week two more donations were received with appreciation and now the lovely leather book finder has been donated so that we now have only to order the appropriate refill pages. Next Sunday, Dec. 11th is White Gift Sunday when the children will bring to Church canned goods or packed goods to be sent where there is a need at Christmas time. In the evening; the Sunday School will put on a program when you will learn about the Mystery of the Bells. Come, ready to enjoy yourself by 8 p.m. The children and lead- ers need your interest and support. There will be a collection to defray expenses. (- X-rays. | WELCOME The Employees of .H.
