It seems hard to think anyone.in this land should be cold or hungry at any time especial- ly Christmas. Any clothing for the needy could be left at my house and we will see it is distributed. December 17th at 7:00 p.m. Seventeen or eighteer ladies from Bethesda-React Branch W.I. who took the "Festival of Dairy Foods" course were present to enjoy the Achievement Day fo Ontario County at Trinity United Church, Uxbridge or Mon. December 5, 1977. Stickers now Motor vehicle stickers for 1978 went on sale December 1, and the office at 14 Water -Street in Port Perry report- ed that business was slow during the first week. With only 130 sold the first week, there are many people still to purchase their new stickers as the office: expects to sell up- wards of 7000 stickers on all types of vehicles between now and the February 28 deadline, . Then one and all enjoyed a beautiful Dairy Food Buffet - everything rich with butter, cream, butter- milk, cottage cheese or yogurt. At1:15 p.m. we were intro- duced to Mrs. Denise Weir, Food and Nutrition specialist of Toronto by chairlady, Mrs. Jackie 'Lockie of Zephyr. The Altona, Bethesda- Reach, Claremont, Good- wood, Honeydale and Myrtle groups then each had a few minutes to tell of their exper- iences in taking the course. Bethesda-Reach had com- posed a song.
