Ronald Burke of Scar- borough was southbound on Highway 12 about 9:15 a.m. when he allegedly tried to pass a car which was waiting to make a left turn onto the regional road. The Burke vehicle struck the left front of a car driven by Lee Lane of Port Perry causing $300 damage to the Lane car. The Burke car then went off the road and struck a parked truck causing $1000. damage. Damage to the Burke car was estimated by police at $2000. There were no injuries in the accident.
