Obituary Wilfrid Gladstone Hughes Suddenly due to a heart attack, Wilfrid Gladstone Hughes of 95 Taunton Rd. E., Oshawa, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 1978, at Findlay, Ohio. Born in Toronto, Ontario, on April 14, 1902 to Henry and Eleanor Hughes, he married Amy Real on July 7, 1928. Places of residence were Willowdale, Flesherton, Sunderland ~Mimico, Weston and Oshawa. Before his retirement, he was a Floor Trader with Toronto Stock Exhange, an employee of Aikenhead Hardware Company, and waterworks controller for the Borough of North York. He was a member of the United Church of Canada, and the Willowdale Lions Club. Left to mourn his passing are his wife, Amy; three sons, Donald, James and Richard; a daughter Nancy, and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by brother Clifford, and two sisters, Bernice and Alice, Funeral services were held January 14, 1978, from the McDermott-Panabaker Funeral Home, Port Perry, with Rev.
