This year a commit- tee of the Women's Inter- Church Council of Canada, has prepared a service on the theme of "Community Spirit in Modern Living". A young Toronto couple, Ron and Kris Klusmeier, were commissioned to write a theme song. Their song, 'As Children of One Father" is presented in the pro- gramme as Canada's gift to the world community. The Women's Inter- Church Council of Canada each year edits, publishes, and distributes the World Day of Prayer material as well as receives the offerings and distributes grants for ecumenical projects which "communicate the Gospel and-or serve human need'. This year the league hopes that the sum of $60,000 can be given to finance world wide literacy. All over the world on March 3, men and women will be celebrating this special prayer service.
